attachments won't open in Microsoft Outlook express

    How come my emails with attachments will not open? I am using windows XP Prof. with Microsoft Outlook express.

    Try this:

    Open outlook express, click TOOLS > OPTIONS > SECURITY > and untag the fourth box down. OK out.

    You can control which file types OE will alllow as attachments. You go to Folder Options>File Types>select the file type you wish to edit>click Edit>and then uncheck Confirm Open After Download. It will then be allowed as an attachment.
