atisgkaf.sys hang

    After installing the upgrade to Norton Internet Security suite 2006 my laptop with Windows XP pro Service pack 2 would not boot up. Trying to start in safe mode it would hang up at loading atisgkaf.sys. Tried to restore windows using Windows XP pro disk. It also hangs. Any solution or will would cause this problem?
