ati radeon vs nvidia

    I have an ati radeon 4800 graphics card now and it don't really do the job,
    specially with scenes having lots of fast motion (it only has 512 meg onboard memory). I have a 26in monitor with about 5 years of age and its in very good
    shape.

    Was wondering if upgrading to an nvidia card might give me a better response
    and if there would be any problems swapping.

    If it's for the Gateway in your user profile - the power supply might limit you on which cards you can get. What is the watt rating on the power supply?
