I just upgraded to an ATI Radeon 32MB SDR PCI and it installs fine xp has no reports of any problems i have the latest drivers which i downloaded yesterday

i did have an 3DFX voodoo3 2000 pci which i have uninstalled all of the drivers because i have just upgraded to XP at the same time as buying the new card my mobo has an onboard ATI Rage 128 VR which i diabled under windows device manager.
and i have an onboard SB pci 64
but my new card is having problems running some apps and games also i get feedback from my speakers when i switch into 3d apps. such as plugins for winamp

A Friend said that i may have a conflict beetween the sound card and graphics card hence the feedback

windows reports no conflicts in device manager but in system information under conflicts/sharing it says

    Memory Address 0xCB000-0xCBFFF PCI bus
    Memory Address 0xCB000-0xCBFFF Motherboard resources

    Memory Address 0xA0000-0xBFFFF PCI bus
    Memory Address 0xA0000-0xBFFFF RADEON 7200/RADEON

is this maybe the sound card as a motherboard resource

    HLP please

Strange thing is that Quake3 works with no probs at all ????
but some probs with 3dmark 2001 the character at the end disapears and re apears
