Can someone please tell me what ATI.Sys files are. I am doing some disk clean up on my secondary HDD and notice that I have four or five of these sitting in a 'Download' folder. Can they be dumped ??.
    Thanks:(

ati.sys files are part of the ATI Display driver.

Their location in the OS is C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\

The files you have in a Download folder are the remnants of an install/update of your graphics drivers from sometime in the past. They should be safe to delete, but to be sure I would rename them ATI.old and test. If no issues delete them.
