I am not trying to be disrespectful here BUT I happen to be disabled...and had the computer store install my new ATI All In Wonder 7500 TV card for me. Once home, I went to register it and was told I needed the serial number off the card...so even being disabled (affects my arms mostly) I pulled my computer out as far as I could and got down and tried to read the numbers on that damned card!! They were SO SMALL that even with a magnifying glass I and others could not read them. I am not confident enough to pull the card myself and am sure that there are a great deal of other people that feel the same way! Plus, with me it is a handicap issue! Now, you say that these are great cards...only after THREE weeks of trying to research this card, on the ATI site, was I made aware of ALL of the difficulties these cards really do have. So...I would think that the ATI people would be a great deal more 'Customer Service' oriented than to hassle us about a serial number that you can barely see on their product!! If you have a receipt and are calling them, then obviously, you have their product in your computer. On top of that! if you have a problem with their product and you need a replacement, they don't even send you a NEW card(even if you bought yours New in the box!) ..they send you a refirbished card!

Never again will I purchase ATI products. Please do not put this person down for asking a ligitamite(sp) question!

They aren't hassling you---they need to know the number in order to help you. You are being "hassled" by their attempts to solve your problem. Hopefully, they learned their lesson and will make no attempt whatever to help you in the future.

They do not even know if they made the card without the serial. Just because it is an ATI card does not mean that ATI made it---only that they use the ATI chipset. The serial was no doubt on the box or receipt, too.

It is general practice to stay in a thread once started and not to start a new one for editorial comments. People find it difficult to follow through the maze.
