ATI All In Wonder 7500 (64mb)

I am running a 450mgHZ computer..384RAM..Win98se...Sound Blaster Live Value..52gHD (2/3 free) ATI All In Wonder 7500 TV (64mb RAM)Video Card.

I had a All In Wonder (8mb RAM) previously installed on this computer & she ran like a TOP!! I have just recently installed this new (64mb) All In Wonder card and my computer is constantly LOCKING-UP!!! I can't run for more than 4-5 minutes & it locks up. I have installed the latest drivers for the card but it seems to have made things worse!! Can You Please help me as I truly need my computer ....I am the Treasurer of a rather large organization & need to keep the books updated....

I'd suggest removing the driver and the ATI Control Panel (There are probably entries in Add/Remove), deleting the ATI folder in the root directory, clearing all your temp files from both Windows\Temp and Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp (if XP), or at least all the files in those folders that you can delete, and reinstalling both the Catalyst 3.2 driver and Control Panel.

Look in Device Manager, too, to remove all display drivers. Remnants of drivers for the previous card may cause problems.

Be sure to restart immediately when prompted.
