AT&T Yahoo! Online Protection

    Does anyone here use this? I just found out about it. I believe it is Norton... :eek:

    Since it is "free" with my DSL.

    This is not uncommon. Many big av vendors it and some as vendors too.

    AOL had Kaspersky for a while, they they switched to McAfee.

    AT&T used to also use Webroot too. F-Secure also provides a suite to an ISP whose name eludes me currently.

    As long as you practice safe surfing habits and have some other layers of protection, I don't see why this would hurt, unless the system becomes unstable,

    IMHO...stay away from Norton.
