I recently removed a bunch of 'useless to me' programs from my laptop(used) and was wondering if there is a program (hopefully freeware) that can locate and remove associated files and folders left behind, and not needed by any remaining programs. Anyone know of such a thing?

Dave, just a couple of questions :
    - did you uninstall the apps or just delete their folders ?
    - why do you think there are "leftovers" - are you having problems ?
    regards

    Merlin,

I uninstalled them. And I say there are leftovers because for example, I uninstalled Office 2000, but there is still a folder full of stuff from that program. And no I'm not having problems, just want to make space, and those files and folders are using some. I was looking for a way to delete ALL of them without having to find them all myself. Not sure what all might be shared by something else either. And I have used regseeker Bill. It's a good program (thanks Mike)! But while it removes registry tracks, I haven't found it to remove unused files and folders left behind by uninstalled programs. Is there an option to do that I didn't see?

I don't think so Dave. I usually go through Windows Explorer and delete folders that are left over. Sorry.
