I apologize if this is a duplicate post, as I tried last night but it didn't seem to work.

I just upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional on my Toshiba A215-S4747 laptop and can't figure out how to get the aspect ratio right. The only choice for screen resolution is 1024 x 768, and that doesn't work. Things are stretched out horizontally, like the icons on the desktop. It's worse when I draw in AutoCAD, and a square looks like a rectangle. It was not like this before I installed Windows 7. I went to the Toshiba web site and downloaded their Windows 7 package, but it didn't help.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Go to Toshiba and get the drivers for your video card. You are probably useing a default windows one from the install.

I tried that, and installed what they had to download, but it didn't change anything. I think I'll call their tech support.

    Thanks.
