Arrows

    Any way to get rid of those arrows on my desktop icons in Windows XP?

    I believe your talking about the shortcut arrows overlayed on the desktop icons...

    The quick way is to install the Free TweakUI from...http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx. You can also install some of the other "PowerToys" here also.

    1) Open TweakUI
    2) Expand "Explorer "
    3) Select "Shortcut "
    4) Choose "Arrow ", "Light Arrow ", "None ", or "Custom "

    Note: Choosing "None" is not recommended as you cannot differentiate the shortcut and the actual file/folder. Most reccommendations are to chose the "Light Arrow ". Anyways it is your choose. Have fun wit it.
