Resolved Arrows on Desktop Shortcuts

    I just bought a new Desktop PC with Windows 7. I put 5 Shortcuts on the Desktop, and they all have a large Arrow on them. On XP I had a Tweakui application to remove them. That does not work on Win 7. No Tweakui for Win 7. I do not like the looks of the Shortcuts.

    MS have not released an 7 equivalent of Tweak UI, but this will do the trick and much more ....

    Ultimate Windows Tweaker

    Works like a charm :)

    Double thanks Pete....Getting rid of the arrows on one of my Vista machines fixed an issue of black icons that I got tired of messing with;)

    I like the Ultimate Windows Tweaker. It allows me to get rid of the Arrows and a few other things. Thanks!
