    Hi,

    (Using Outlook 2003)

I need to archive - or to otherwise save for later use, all my hotmail email folders - AND their contents.

I have tried archiving each folder individually (tried a few) as well as using auto archive, and so far all I've managed to do is to save the folders, not the folders contents.

I need to be able to save all the contents of my email folders so that I can clear out my hotmail - but still be able to access all those old messages on my laptop or PC if I need to (which I often do).

    Can anyone help?

Did you right click on a Folder_>Properties->Archive Tab

Third option to Archive using these settings....You'd want to use the Move option.

There isn't an Archive tab - but there is an "Auto Archive" Tab - is that the one you meant? Because if so, I've already tried that, went through the entire long, long list of folders setting that tab up for each one. Took ages, and I still just ended up with only the folders, no contents.

Unfortunately I've not just discovered that every single folder is set back to "do not archive" when I'd been through the whole lot (barring 2) saying "use default archive settings for this folder "

    It's just not working...

    What "Move option "? Where?

(BTW, thanks for the extremely prompt reply)
