Its the first time for me, i'm very exited.
    Sorry for my small english

    Go to the question.

I have very interested to Archive e-mail over CDROM / DVD. :D
Then a have folloved these istruction: Archive & Access Netscape / Mozilla Mail on CD

So after I have copied the archive folders and files on CD (with no MSF files) and configurate the path, Over Thunderbird I can see the Tree of archive on CD but I can't see the messages included

I sopposed that thunderbid can't write MSF files over DVD.

    What can I do?
    Thanks

    Welcome to the Forum, picco!

    picco,

You must follow the instructions precisely, or it won't work. I've had a few users reporting they can't access the mail on CD, only to find out that they varied on the instructions. I use an Archive CD frequently, on Thunderbird 1.0.7, so I know there is no problem...

You must copy only the "Contents" of the Archive folder in your Mail Account to the Archive Folder on the CD-RW.

This may not be the solution for your trouble but I have noticed when I try to access my email on the CD/RW sometimes it takes a few minutes for them to show up! give them some time to load .
