Resolved Applying folder View option to all folders and sub folders.

    I'm sure that previous versions of Windows had a facility to force all folders to display, for instance, Icons. Afterwards, individual folders could have their View option changed to something else.

    If that was so, and I'm not dreaming, how can I do it in XP?
