I want to be able to distribute appearance settings to a 300+ network setup without having to go to each machine to do so.

I realise how to disable tabs under group policy so that they cannot make any changes but I want to be able to restrict users from making changes to their local appearance settings and have a default one set by myself, the administrator. Is this possible or not?

    Many Thanks

Easiest I have found is to put a couple of lines in the logon script that 1) deletes their current settings and then 2) copies yours onto the PC.

Granted, they can still make session changes but will lose them at every reboot and most folks get tired of doing the work just to lose it at the end of the day.

The above will work fine unless you have some reason for not allowing them to make any changes at any time.
