Appdata Folder

Windows 8.1 64 bit
Tonight my appdata folder is no longer viewable. I viewed it last night without a problem.
Everything still seems to be working just can't find it.
Under folder options\view Show hidden folders does has a check.
Did a search under users says I still have it just can't make it appear.
What would make it go away?

 

Reboot and see what happens. And make sure you are looking under the right username.

 

I think I should have Titled this lost in Windows 8. I found my problem. I kept looking in folders Option to solve my problem. Show hidden folders!!
My answer was right in front of me but I didn't see it until now. The menu at the top under view has a place to check the says Hidden Items. I checked that box and problem solved.
My brain is still geared for Windows 7. Not sure how it got unchecked as I viewed appdata the day before.
