I installed the "Apache Directory Suite v.1.5.7" on my Win7 workstation.
This installed as a service "Apache Directory Server - default" and listens on the default port "389 ". So far no problem.

Now I tried to configure the server. On the Apache site "http://directory.apache.org/" I was recommended to install the "Apache Directory Studio 1.5.3" in order to configure the Apache directory Server.
No problem so far. With the Apache Directory Studio tool I can make a connection to the server. But then I don't no how to configure the Ou's, Base DN, groups , users, mail adresses, etc.
On the Apache site are a couple of users guides but apperently of an older version than the one I installed.

As mail client I use Mozilla Thunderbird 3.1.2 and I suceeded in installing an LDAP address book but I don't know the Base DN entry of the server (don't know how to configure te server).

Can anyone help me with the configuration of the "Apache Directory Suite "; what entries I have to specify and how? (not nessesarily through the Apache Studio)

If anyone can help me with that I would be more than grateful.
