This is very unusual; AOL just starts up about every 30 minutes. I can’t find where this is triggered from. Any Ideas???

In Outlook Express there is a setting to check for messages every 'x' minutes.

Maybe something similar in AOL preferences/options??

Alternatively download Startup Control Panel and see if there is anything listed.

Just a thought, in some instances AOL is started up in the Task Manager [if there] in the Systray, maybe the setting was changed from windows startup to a time frame.
