I have a D-Link Wireless Router 108G and Wireless G Range Extender AND UBS Adapter Wireless 108G. Connected to the Router by cable is a MAC laptop. My Windows XP Home PC and laptop are also connected. PROBLEM: AOL, for no apparent reason at all, will fail to connect or disconnect from my desktop even though IE works to the point I can get AOL through IE. Sometimes it connects, and I get the "You have mail" voice, but the main screen remains blue until a voice says, "Goodbye, Lee," and AOL exits. Sometimes it will freeze, and I must use Windows Task Master to get out.
AOL refuses to accept any responsibility, continually stating it's the fault of the router. I can connect with IE and two poker sites when AOL isn't working, so I don't believe AOL.
I would appreciate any suggestions. You can email me at Removed by Moderator Thankx and aloha, Lee Mason

Lee - Welcome to the Board :)

I cannot help you with your specific problem as I use neither a router or AOL, but, for futire reference ....

We do not respond directly via email or PM - all business is conducted on the BBS for the benefit of all (see my signature). I have removed your email address for your protection - posting it publically is an open invitation to spammers :)
