AOL hangs after installing cable modem

    At first it worked great ... we upgraded to IE6 while installing the cable modem. Then opened both IE and AOL. After aol was shut down she tried to open it back up and it hangs. Any suggestions?
    She shut everything down and tried again. Still hangs.

    hi, i just had alot of the same type of trouble, did you try unplugging the power cord from the cable modem,waiting five minutes then plugging it back in? that was one of the things my cable co. had me do,does your friend have aol broadband service? if so the phone # for broadband tech support is888-418-5320,good luck:)
