I don't know beans about AOL anymore (I feel lucky). A friend sends me responses to my email without repeating my message. Her message (several days later) says things like: "That's a good idea." I have no idea what she is talking about.

Anyone know the settings to allow my message to appear in her email,

Generally when "Reply" option is chosen (at default settings), all contained text in the email will be included in the new email. Graphics sometimes, attachments rarely. This behavior is common with most email programs.

It may be that the original message is sent back as an attachment. I know that AOL forwarded messages always include the original (and all subsequent forwards) as an attachment (and layer upon layer of attachments if it's been forwarded repeatedly).

Evidently, she must have turned off this feature and I don't know how to tell her how to turn it back on.
