    Anyone with advice on video editing software?

    I'm looking for some samples software that will just allow me to make highlight films. Just attaching various clips to one another. Preferably something I can download on download.com with a trial.

    Oops, just realised this thread is in the Windows 2000 section - sorry about that, I don't know if Movie Maker will work with 2000 or not but here is a link to another product called Virtualdub that I know nothing about but looks interesting.

    Video editing is much more involved, than just "putting a few clips together ".
    What format is your video in?
    What format do you want the finished product?
    Do you want this for viewing only on a PC/Mac, or do you want to have it transportable to your dvd player/tv?
