Any way to control a NIC card by User?

    Hi, is there a way to turn off a hardware device like a NIC card for a specific XP user acct. I came up dry on in the XP forum but thought that maybe the hardware guys might know.

    In XP Pro: (logged on as Admin or member of Admin Group)
    Start > Run > GPEDIT.MSC
    Set network polices for Users other than Administrators.
