Ran across HYBERFIL.SYS - logged on main as only C:\; created when new XP sys loaded.

170MB, modified each log-on. On checking further, reg lists it as a Power Management sys driver file.

Does not 'empty' out on a fresh boot. Anyone ever heard of same? Thanks!

You could turn off support for Hibernation.
