Want to remove the floppy drive, don't use it anymore and its sitting right on top of one of my hard drives. Its currently not in the BIOS boot sequence anyway. Anyone see a reason why removing it physically would cause a problem?

    Hi Charles!

Have a look in BIOS to see which setting is used for B:. I would assume that it is set to "NONE" and I would recommend setting A: to the same. This will speed up booting since the computer won't have to look for a device that doesn't exist. Then just remove it but don't toss it in the bin ...... :p ...... You know the saying that "you don't need it until you have thrown it away "

    Thankyou, didn't think of that.
