Are you referring to an Anti-Virus software? If you are using Windows OS - what is wrong with MS Windows Defender? If you want an Anti-Malware program - MBAM is used by many members here, self included.

The "best" for a particular user depends on the user's skill-level and their particular computing setup.

Around the world, researchers at independent antivirus testing labs spend their days putting antivirus tools to the test. Some of these labs regularly release public reports on their findings. I follow five such labs closely: AV-Comparatives, AV-Test Institute, Simon Edwards Labs (the successor to Dennis Technology Labs), Virus Bulletin, and MRG-Effitas. I also take note of whether vendors have contracted for certification by ICSA Labs and West Coast Labs.

Hi clanbuster. The only BEST Anti-Malware program is your OWN brain using your own common sense. But for me personally I rely on a layered security approach where I don't rely on one security program to keep my system secure.

On my computers that I configure for clients I use the following:

    • Windows Defender/Microsoft Security Essentials
    • Spyware Blaster
    • Spybot Search and Destroy
    • Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    • Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit
    • A custom Hosts file to block annoying ads and malicious websites.

Keep in mind that you should also educate yourself on the dangers of the Internet and how to avoid getting your machine infected. You can find plenty of sites on this topic through Google but I also have a list of some of the best ones that I can share if anyone is interested.

I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as well. That paired with Panda AV does the trick.

Panda AV free plus Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Premium). Works well for me & light on resources.

I guess that the OP doesn't have his account set right. Hasn't been back or at least posted in here since the question was asked.

    Hi,
    Sorry for late reply.
I wish i have time to do this. When childhood, i have time to source for help or solve myself.
Now, i don't even have time to go back home or hotel.
I used to have Malwarebytes and look like is still recommended.
Look like bitdefender is not in the list of recommendation?I find that the only thing that bitdefender is cheaper.
I think i will still stick to Malwarebytes.
