Not sure.. maybe this should be posted at W-XP?
But it's a problem to do with both XP and IE.

    Anyway here we go:
On my daughters computer (W-XP) she has two users.... her and her husband.

    The problem:
She can open IE but her husband can't open IE?

    Thanks :D

Sounds like a permissions problem... Does his acoount have full admin rights, or is it a limited account? I deliberately set my younger kids up w/o access to the internet so they would have to ask for help to get online (I have to log them into the older kids' account) I did that by limiting the rights of the second account. Control Panel> User Accounts will tell how it is configured.

One more thing I thought of. You said he can't enter through clicking on an icon. Perhaps that shortcut is bad. Can he access another way? (Through WE, or start etc) If the shortcut is just corrupt, he can safely delete it and create a new one.
