Another new newbie

Hi all,

I was fortunate to find this excellent forum while searching around for info on whether I could use WordPerfect 6.1 on Windows XP (which I found I could do, thankfully).

Me? I'm just a humble co-resident of Planet Earth, trying to eke out a living as a technical writer/editor (if the field ever picks up enough to find a job!).

I would say my knowledge of word and graphic software falls somewhere between advanced-intermediate and advanced.

My hobbies are reading and enjoying the good things in life (and striving to see the good even in what appears to be sometines not-so-good).

Anyway, Im glad to have found this excellent BBS, and hope to be able to help others find the proper solution or answer to their computer-related questions.
