    Are we likely to see Netscape upgraded beyond 7.1?

    Or will users have to switch to Mozilla 1.6+ or to Firefox?

    No... We could hope for a miracle, but at this time it would be wishful thinking.

    Or will users have to switch to Mozilla 1.6+ or to Firefox?
    A very wise choice. The two programs (Netscape / Mozilla) are so similar, you will only notice the improvements. Remember Mozilla is a suite (browser & email client) and Firefox is browser only. If you want email client, you need to include Thunderbird. My opinion only, move to Mozilla. Give Fire and Thunder a little more time to mature.
