i'm trying to use a fan (still runs) from busted power supply. It's a 12 v,0.15 amp fan, i'm planning to use it coz it still runs maybe as an extra cooling device. i'v got a 500 watt power supply and an ASrock ALiveNF7G-HD720p motherboard

Hi dodong1, just make sure you mount it the right way round as it will PULL or PUSH the air. You should be able to power it from one of the 4 pin connector plugs and you can buy male/female connector leads from Computer shops to hook up with. Cheers Neil.

thank you for the reply. would it be possible if i just connect it to the four pin connector plug by just connecting the black and red wire (fan wires) to the four pin connector plug which has 2 blacks, 1 red and a yellow wire just to save some cash? and where would i connect it (corresponding wires)? by the way how would you suggest i mount it, going in or out (air). i'm planning to mount it in my CRT monitor, got no Air con yet. hehe
