I am considering putting XP Pro on my computer, but i am wondering if it is affected by the AMD AGP bug(my vid card is a Nvidia Geforce2 mx400). Windows 2000 has a patch, but is there a patch for XP or is the problem fixed in XP? I looked on the AMD website and didn't find anything.

Can't say I've heard of an AMD AGP bug with XP.
I'm running an Athlon 1.2G on an Aopen Via chipset M/B using an old non XP compliant 3DFX Voodoo 3 3000 AGP Card.
Though it's always a good idea to check with your M/B manufacturer for M/B driver updates for things like the AGP controller. As my M/B has a Via north and south chipset I use the latest Via 4in1 drivers from the Via Web site. If your M/B has a hybrid chipset use only driver updates from the M/B's Web site.
