    Hey guys!
I've always been a huge fan of aligning applications (using WAlign) because of the great increase in performance this gives you under Win98 & Me.
I was wondering if it would be possible to align .exe's and .dll's under Windows XP if you were using the FAT32 file system? What about NTFS?
I haven't been able to find any information on the net about this and I was just wondering if NTFS maybe has a feature like this built in or if it's compatible and if I'll still be able to align my hard drive after I upgrade to XP if I keep FAT32.

Thanks in advance for any info!

XP is written to arrange files according your useage pattern. The more often you use it and reboot it, the closer to optimum - for you - it gets.

And the version of disk keeper they include for defrag operates with some of the same logic.

The FAT32 vs. NTFS decision is pretty much based on your need for security (where NTFT wins hands-down) and stability - since NTFS is supposed to be a bit more stable.

I can't say for sure about the stable part since I haven't used FAT on a computer since before NT3.x
