AIM+ or Trillian Pro?

which is better? AIM using AIM+ or, since 3.0 isn't out yet for AIM+, is Trillian better?

 

It depends on what you want to do through your instant messaging program.

Trillian will connected to the Big Four - AIM, ICQ, Yahoo and MSN - so that if you have friends on all of them, you can run one instance of Trillian and have access to them all.

Trillian, however, does not support voice or video chat. It' text chat only. I can find an option to do a file transfer on the Yahoo connection on my Trillian but not on the MSN connection. I don't have anybody on the ICQ or AIM list so I don't know about those two.
