Resolved Aero "Graphics Mode" - Desktop Backgrouond

Hi all,

I have an issue with a USB-to-DVI adapter. The solution, oddly enough, seems to be making sure I am running Windows Aero in "graphics mode ". So I chose the "Windows 7" theme. Worked!

But I hate the window logo as the desktop background... Is there a way to get the Aero Graphics Mode I need with a simple single color background?

Hi Chris. To keep the Aero theme and change the wallpaper to a color background, right click on the Desktop and click on Personalize. Then when the Personalization window opens, at the bottom click on the Desktop Background button. Then where it says Picture location click the down arrorow and select Solid Colors.

Then pick the color you want and click on the Save Changes button.

Marking a thread as 'Resolved'

Once you have posted those details, when still looking at your thread, near the top (and bottom) of your thread you'll see the text "Mark Thread as Solved ". Click on it to mark your thread as solved.

If later you find that the problem has returned, and you had previously marked your thread as solved, follow the steps above. Instead 'Mark this thread as solved' you will see that in this case Mark this thread as unsolved is listed.
