Sorry; My earlier post's thread was closed due to my inappropriate "Title "; Here's a re-post I must make:

How do I make my 'puter's cursor show URLs in the Opera 7.54? (My OS info, if needed: XP Pro 2002, w/ SP1... Too scared to put the SP2...) I've been using Opera's quite some time now; It, being unable to see the addy's, just bothers me, since Opera's have been my main browsers, and I d/load quite a bit from sites, even when I do need to use other DL Managers such as Net Transport; Thus, I want to see the addresses.

    Help me, please!

I don't have Opera but maybe a bit more info would help. It's not really clear (to me anyway) what you're after. Are you trying to get links to change color when you point your cursor at them or are you trying to get the cursor itself to change when you point it at a link? Perhaps something else? If you want the link to change color have a look in the options for something called hover. If it's there you should be able to select a color for it. If you want the cursor to change (like from a regular cursor to a pointing finger or something else) open the mouse applet in the control panel, click on the pointers tab and then find "link select" in the list. Click on the browse button to select the cursor you want it to change to. If either of these aren't what you're looking for post back with a little more of an explanation. Maybe somebody that uses Opera can come up with an answer then.

    Hi, Zander; Thanks for responding...

I've got an advice from a personnel in Brasil; And that trick I was given worked really nicely. (Some Opera 7.54 users may benefit from this; Thus, this thread-add-on.)

    |Tools|, |Preferences|, (or just do |Alt+P|,) |Windows|, check |Show tooltips| & |Apply|, |OK| out.

    Works great!

Zander, your reply too was truly apprecated, all the same,

Ok. I understand now what you were after. I wouldn't have been able to help with that. Thanks for posting back with the answer. It may help somebody else in the future.
