Advanced Tab in Primary/Secondary ATA/ATAPI Controllers missing

    Where it be? Neither I nor my extremely-computer-literate buddy have this option in our WindowsXP Pro systems.

    I am attempting to update the firmware for my Yamaha CD burner. In order to do so I must first disable Direct Memory Access (DMA). Do not have the "Advanced Settings" option for either Primary or Secondary IDE controller. Nor do I have an "Advanced Settings" option in Device Mangler for the burner.

    Any help?
