Hi guys, I've just upgraded from W98SE to XP Home SP2 on a clean instal. My graphics card is an ATI Sapphire Radeon 9000. I use Photoshop a lot and I've found that the Adobe Gamma calibration tool no longer works.

I read on the net that this could be because XP loads it's own driver on for the graphics card (as it did in my case) and that to restore Adobe Gamma to functionality the original driver should be reloaded. I have tried this under the 'Update Driver' function but XP won't let me re-load it.

Should I re-boot into Safe Mode, uninstal XP's graphics driver and then load the original driver from the Sapphire Radeon installation CD? And do you think it would work??

Hope you can shed some light on this.

    Thanks
    Rick

    Hi Rick

The drivers on your Sapphire Radeon installation CD may or may not support XP. If they do run the CD, but you may still like to download and install the latest Windows XP drivers from ATI for the ATI Sapphire Radeon 9000.

I would remove the card through Device Manager, reboot and install the ATI drivers.
