Each time I view the Telegraph web site, it only started this week, I get an annoying HSBC video showing. It won't go away and if I right click it shows Adobe Flash Player. It doesn't seem to affect any other web site, presumably because this ad. is not used anywhere else. I use SeaMonkey and although there is an add-on for Firefox to prevent this, it is not compatible with SeaMonkey. Any ideas please how I can stop this happening?

    Hi,

    Firefox
Firefox has no built-in control for this. However there are alot of great addons you can use. Such as the above mentioned NoScript, or Flashblock that I use:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433/

    Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer 8 and above has this option built in.
Go in to Tools > Manage addons > Klick Flash, choose More Information. Then choose "Remove all sites ".

You will then be prompted on every site that you visit to choose either to let it be viewed or to keep blocking it.

Or you can manage the addon for restricted sites in the Manage Addons-menu.
