   Most (but not all) of my (as an Administrator) desktop icons are duplicated on other users desktops. When I try and delete them on the other users' desktops, they will not delete or in turn delete on my desktop. How can I get rid of these icons on other users' desktops and keep them on moine?

   That's usually determined when you install the program. Some programs do ask you if you want to install for the current user (Just me), or for all users on the computer.
   
   Others (older programs) will only install for all users by default.
