Adjust NEC CRT flat monitor 2010X

    NEC CRT flat monitor 2010X ,

    I have this monitor & have been fiddling with controls & in Auto. mode it has turned brightness up to where it burns my eyes & I can’t decipher out how to turn brightness down. It has 7 buttons 1 button that says MUTE & EXIT, 4 control buttons with directional arrows. 1 which says DVI/D-SUB & PROCEED & 1 that says
    OSM & RESET.
    I was wondering if someone knows those controls & could tell this dummy how to turn brightness down.:confused:

    Monitor Adjustment

    THANK YOU Pete,

    Yes, I have read the manual several times it tell about what can be adjuted but not HOW TO. I thought maybe someone could fill me in. I have attempted to adjust several times all in vain. I have adjusted monitors in the past but I don't understand this one.
