    Hi Joe,

Your Address Book and other important data are located here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\xxxxxxxx.slt

NOTE: These files are hidden by default.
    To see hidden files:
    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders

If you're going to back up to CD, which is an excellent idea, then back up the entire Profiles folder.

If you want to back up specific files, i.e., Address Book (abook.mab)
    Bookmarks (bookmarks.html)
    etc.

That's doable also, but your floppy will not hold the contents of the entire Profiles folder.

Let us know if you have more questions.

    Hi Joe,

If you burned the entire Profiles folder to CD, then the Address Book is there. It is in the *.slt folder, and the file is abook.mab.

To Export the Address Book as an LDIF file do this:

Click on: Window | Address Book
    Click on: Tools | Export
Select the Folder to which you wish to export the LDIF file
Ensure that the "Save as type" is "LDIF "
    Click on: Save

Post back if you have any further questions.
