    Are you saying if you go to the Contacts tab and click on a name, you can't do anything in Windows Live Mail?

    Inbox Windows live mail. Bottom left see five icons. One of which is contacts to be used to edit address book. Issue resolved. Case closed.

    That is what I said in my 2nd post. Glad you got it fixed. Please mark you thread as RESOLVED

    Inbox has nothing to do with it. Those show no matter which folder you are in.
