    hi! I've a problem. I'm migrating from netscape 4.7x to netscape 7.
    The question is:
in the 4.7 version netscape managed the address book files creating a file called *.na2. This is not the ns7 use. How the last version of netscape manage the address book?
Is there a file containing the address book? Can I take it manually?
    Thanks a lot

    Welcome to the Forum, fmastropaolo!

    Hi Frederico,

The Netscape 7 Address Book file is abook.mab. It is found in your
    C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\
    Profiles\username\xxxxxxxx.slt folder

    OR
    Windows 2000/XP
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\xxxxxxxx.slt
NOTE: These files are hidden by default.

Have you already installed Netscape 7? If not, you should know that your Communicator Profile will automatically be converted to Netscape 7.

If you have installed Netscape 7, and for some reason your Address Book was not converted, you can do the following:

Export your Communicator pab.na2 file as an .LDIF file
    Open Address Book
    FILE|EXPORT
Save as file type .LDIF, to your HD

Open the Netscape 7 Address Book and Import the .LDIF file
    TOOLS|IMPORT
    Select Address Book
    Select Text File ( LDIF.......
Browse to the file location on your HD

You should see a "Successfully" imported message.

If you have more questions please post back.

    Ramona :D
