Address Book address list 7.0

Is the default in the address book and personnal address the reason I have to scroll the address list up to read the address prior to sending a e-mail? Have been unable to find anything to keep it stationary with the top item staying at the top of the page.

Hi Oscar,

By "scrolling up" you mean that the alphabetical order is reversed?

The Preferences for viewing of the Address Book are accessed by clicking on the "View" tab. Have you tried changing the order there? Or have you done so, and your Preferences aren't retained?

Thank you for the welcome and your response to my posting,Romona. Happy to be aboard.

The list is in alphabetical order. The problem is the address screen is blank and I have to click on the bottom button to bring the screen up to see the addresses. It does not remain there after I exit. I have checked the references and the view as you suggested and I decided I did not explain the problem clearly. Maybe this will be more clear.

In your first post you said

in your second post you said.

refering to Bottom button ?

If the address book screen is blank and you can "scroll" to view addresses,
this may indicate that you have Several
Blank/empty address cards in the address book. These will sort first when sorting on name in accending order.

If this is the case, just delete the blank/empty cards and things should return to normal.

Hope this is on the right track.

After deleting the empty cards it is fine.
