    Greetings All-

Does anyone know where to find an article or how I can add a user to the email address of webmaster@mydomain.com? I am using MS Exchange 2003 and I need to have one of the users set to receive emails that are sent to webmaster@mydomain.com

I attempted to create a new distribution group called webmaster. That was successful, but when I looked at the details of the email address....the exchange server created webmaster2@mydomain.com. This is most likely because the email address webmaster@mydomain.com already exists. I reversed my actions and set forth to here at BBS!!

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

You can do it any way.

Since webmaster is a user, you can have the selected users to have full mailbox access to webmaster

by doing so, in active directory, you need to go to webmaster, exchange advanced, mailbox right

put in the selected users name or a security group.

In each users outlook, you can goto email account (in v2003), view current exchange, select more settings, then advanced, new, put webmaster in it.

So everyone can view webmaster email.
If you need send on behalf or send as right,

To reverse it, you simply need to delete the created account?
i might miss out something, other input might required
