    Hi,

I have a little bit of a problem here. My company uses workgroups and a local domain for the Exchange Server which is nesting the BlackBerry Server as well.
I want to move the BES to a different machine and in order to do that I need to add the new machine(Server 2003) to the local domain, which I was able to do it. Once I added it I cannot ping it or access it remotly.
Can someone please give me a hand here?

Adding a PC to a domain should not change its address, so you should still be able to ping it ... so:

Are you pinging by IP address or name? If name full DNS name or just computer name?

Did you change anything else to get the PC on the domain?

Yes I did change. I added the IP address of the Exchange Server as the Primary DNS Server otherwise I am not able to join the domain.
Please keep in mind that all computers are part of a WORKGROUP, except the Exchange Server.
I am pinging by both IP and name. The Server that I want to join has a static IP.

What are the IP addresses of the PC you are pinging from and the PC you are sending the ping to?

I think we need to go back to basics and start from there. Can you please post the output of an ipconfig /all run on the PC you are having problems with.
