Resolved adding an icon to flash drive

    I have a flash drive on my Windows 7 computer. Can anyone tell me specifically how to add an icon or program to this flash drive and how to delete an icon? Also, how would I delete all the icons at once? Thank you very much. Stang

    To add an icon to a flash drive and make that icon show up in Win Explorer:

    1) Place icon on drive.
    2) Open Note Pad and paste the following:
    [autorun]
    ICON= nameoffile.ico

    3)Save the text file using the name: Autorun.ini and place the file on the flash drive.


    I'm not sure what you're asking in your other questions.. You'd delete a file off a flash dive jsut like you would any other file on any other drive.
