W00T! Okay I found it and it works. You just copy the contense of the "searchplugins" folder for Firefox into the same folder of Netscape in you documents and settings area. All of them will appear. I recomend going to the search in Firefox, click the last entry "add searces" and add everything on the page, then copy to the Netscape folder because going to that page and clicking will NOT add those searches to Netscape. That way you have everything offered at the Mozilla site.

Yes you do, you can not find it by using the search function in Windows. Although you should find the default one.

Thanks Ramona, tell me, what exactly is mycroft? I saw references to it but wasn't sure what it did.

May be I was thrown off by the Documents and Setting line. Anyway, I found a searchplugins folder in the FF program. I deleted eBay, and then found out that NS8 had no such folder, so I copied the entire folder from FF to NS8 beta.
I got rid of the space hogging Search bucket (they call it container), so I don't see it in the usual toolbar. But, I do have the options in the Sidebar search tab.
And, for whatever reason, I have eBay. So, the idea works, more or less.

FYI, the searches names work, in the Sidebar, but only search with Netscape work. I tried with Google, Alta Vista and Yahoo, and got no response.
I have Copernic outside the browser, so, I have no need for internal searches, but this is what I see.
