Add/Remove Programs

After installing the outlook Personal Folders Backup Utility for one specific user in windows2000pro, I removed the user from my computer. The backup utility does not appear anymore in Otlook2002 in the file menu.

Now, when I try to re-install the outlook Personal Folders Backup Utility as "administrator ", Windows Installer informs me that it has detected that the backup utility is allready installed on my computer. However, I cannot remove the utility - for re-installation - anymore because its not visible anymore. Not even at the control panel; add/remove programs.

How can I reset windows2000 or which file or key (register) should I approach???

 

Look at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Each application has a subkey and most include a UninstallString value which is the command line to launch the uninstall process.
